St Stephen’s Presbyterian Church is part of the Presbyterian Church of Victoria (PCV). We are located at the centre of Flemington, Melbourne. We are a group of ordinary people from different backgrounds brought together by an extraordinary saviour – Jesus Christ.
We believe that God’s Word (the bible) is true and has supreme authority over our church and lives. That is why we read and study God’s word together!
We hold to the Westminster Confession of Faith as our doctrinal statement, and a helpful summary of the Bible’s teaching. You can look at the long and heavy document with the link above!
We believe that the Bible is our supreme standard and the Confession is our subordinate standard.

Lindsay Kliendienst
Lindsay pastors the St. Stephens congregation at Flemington. Originally from rural NSW he spent 6 years as a school chaplain in Brisbane and a combined 6 years as a Generations pastor. Prior to ministry training he worked as a locksmith in his hometown of Grafton. He has been married to Angela since 2021 with the birth of their first child Lazarus in December 2023. Lindsay’s greatest joy is seeing God at work in people’s lives.
Likes: Good stories, working with wood, learning knew things, sport, and the beach.
Dislikes: Gardening and shopping.
